James Patterson author of the world's most lucrative

NEW YORK, United States (U.S.) - The U.S. investigation novelist, James Patterson is the highest earning author in the world with turnover of U.S. $ 84 million (RM250.5 million) last year.

Patterson, 64, is popular through the investigation of Alex Cross books, topped the annual list of the author of the highest earnings in the world by Forbes magazine.

In addition to novel investigations, the single father has written children's books in addition to writing movie reviews at leisure.

Writing more than 10 million books sold last year with over 20 titles his first spot on the U.S. bestseller charts.
